Meet Our Dentists
Dr. Pierce
In addition to providing dental services at Riverbend Dental Centre, Dr Pierce also practices at Sutherland Dental Group. He is also a member of the Canadian Dental Association.
Dr. Pierce is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and has been practicing dentistry since 1996.
Dr. Pierce was born and raised in Saskatoon. He and his wife Tanya have two daughters. Dr. Pierce is very active and enjoys participating in triathlons, water skiing and playing hockey.
Dr. Yenuki Rajapaksha
Dr. Yenuki Rajapaksha was raised in Saskatoon and after high school obtained her bachelor’s degree in Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of Saskatchewan with great distinction. She was then accepted into the U of S College of Dentistry, class of 2022. Dr. Rajapaksha enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has special interest in Invisalign, restorative dentistry, paediatrics, root canals and extractions. She is excited to serve the Saskatoon community and is committed to providing patient centred dental care to enhance her patients’ oral health.
Outside of dentistry she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, staying physically active, cooking/baking, and travelling.
Meet our Dental Hygienist
Colette
Our dedicated Dental Hygienist Colette comes to us with over 25 years of dental hygiene experience. She is very passionate and committed to providing the best oral hygiene care to her patients; children, adults and seniors. Her primary concern for optimal dental health and wellness is key to her preventative care. She is married with 3 children. In her free time she enjoys playing pickleball, dancing, spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling the world. This is just some of the passions she has.
Dental Hygienists are licensed dental professionals who play a major role in patient education and oral hygiene. Some of the common procedures hygienists perform include: polishing, scaling and root planing, and taking radiographs. They are a tremendous asset in helping you keep your teeth and gums healthy.
Aleisha
Dental Assistants are licensed dental practitioners. They assist the dentist during procedures, take radiographs and impressions, and can conduct cleanings and oral hygiene instruction on children. Invaluable members of our team, our assistants are essentially an extra set of helpful hands for our doctors.
Ariana
Ariana has been an assistant since 2007 and practicing in the dental field for 7 years. She has been with the office since 2023. She is a valuable asset to our team. Her background in nursing greatly enhances her patient care. She assists our dentists with dental procedures and does some administrative work. You can often find Ariana doing all the outdoor activities, enjoying friends and family. She enjoys taking her cat camping and has started gardening. These are just some of her favourite things.
Meet our Dental Assistant
Kera
Kera has been an assistant since 2010 and with the office since 2023. She has an infectious bubbly personality that lights up the office. She is a wonderful addition to our team. She assists our dentists with dental procedures and does some administrative work. Kera is married with 2 children, she enjoys boating and spending time with her family. She also loves to bake and decorates specialty cakes for people/events. These are the many things she enjoys doing.
We also have an assortment of Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists that fill in when we need some extra help. We appreciate all their support and enjoy working with each and everyone of them.
